On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Diyar Abdulkarim Saeed, President of Zakho University and Dr. Diyar Ahmed Balij, Dean of the College of Science, the university organized an event in honor of Kurdistan Environment Day. The Scientific Center for Environmental Studies at Zakho University played a key role in establishing this occasion. As part of the celebration, a scientific exhibition titled "Environment Day" was presented. 

During the exhibition, approximately 25 scientific posters related to environmental protection were showcased. Students actively participated in preparing, presenting, and discussing research findings.
